Private wine cellar Bergschenhoek

The objective

For a new house to be moved into, the customer is looking to furnish and air-condition his prefabricated cellar. The cellar measures 2.93 x 6.37 x 2.77 m (w x l x h), with a capacity of 51 m3. There must be space for wine boxes and as many wine bottles as possible must be stored individually.

The solution

To make the best use of the space, we place the tall wine racks on the walls and place the box modules in the middle. Air conditioning is also a challenge in a concrete precast wine cellar: in this case, we let the warm air blow out into the adjacent crawl space. The hot air outlet had to be extended to prevent the unit from drawing its own hot air.

The product

In this case we used 3 EuroCave products:

1. Modulosteel; EuroCave s steel wine rack for storing individual bottles - 17 racks
2. Modulorack; for storing wine cases for easy individual access - for 20 cases
3. INOA 50 wine cellar cooler; for air-conditioning the room at 12° C

The result

A storage capacity of over 2300 individual wine bottles and 20 wine crates. A great presentation of the beautiful wine collection.
