SPLIT cooling units

SPLIT

When a room is too complicated for INOA wine cellar cooling, the split cooling unit may offer a solution. This split cooling unit can be installed in any situation, thanks to the separate indoor and outdoor units, which are connected by flexible pipes.

The perfect cellar climate

The perfect cellar climate

  • Constant temperature Your wines are best kept at a constant temperature between 10 and 14 °C.
  • Ideal humidity To prevent oxygen reaching the wine through the cork, the relative humidity is preferably 60-75%.
  • Constant air circulation Prevent mold by constant air circulation in the wine cellar or wine room.
  • Store wines horizontally Prevent oxidation: by storing wines horizontally, the cork on the inside is kept moist.
  • Free of vibrations and odors Your wines should be stored in peace and without the influence of harmful odors and vibrations.
  • Dark Uv rays are harmful to the aging of your wines and can affect their color.

Installation

Installation

The split cooling unit consists of two parts connected by piping. This offers in some cases more possibilities for placement compared to the INOA wine cellar cooling unit, as an adjacent room is not required. For example, you can attach the indoor unit to the wall or ceiling and place the outdoor unit outside.

Questions?

No, the SPLIT cooling unit does not regulate the humidity as the INOA does. It will dehumidify the air. The water has to be drained off.

No, the SPLIT cooling unit is more expensive than the INOA. In addition, the INOA can be installed by yourself and the SPLIT cooling unit must be installed by a STEK-approved company.

The SPLIT cooling unit can be set at the lowest temperature of 12 degrees. Perfect for storing wine.

The outdoor unit can possibly be placed inside, but the room should be very well ventilated. However, since the unit also makes quite a lot of noise, it is better to place it outside.
